O Come, you Jacob’s children, come walk within God’s light!
The path of peaceful pilgrims is everyone’s invite!
We march as children cherished, as those whom God ordains,
to seek all warfare perished, to break the captives’ chains.
God’s dream is for a story when weapons are no more,
where armies lose their glory and kindness is adored.
We melt our every rifle and bombs are in the past;
we break our vengeful cycle and peace becomes steadfast.
God’s kin-dom is a training, a place to love and learn,
where fiery fear is waning, and blessings bind the burn.
God gifts us God’s instruction, the mandates of our Lord:
to end all our destruction, to preach a peaceful Word.
