O Lord, our sovereign Ruler, majestic is your name.
You rule with might and wonder, from age to age the same.
The earth proclaims your goodness, from heav’n your glories shine.
In you is our beginning, all life is your design.
The heavens are your canvas, the stars shine bright and true,
They twinkle in the moonlight, and dance within our view.
The moon pursues its orbit, and greets the dark’ning sky,
Then sinks into the mountains and bids the night goodbye.
How is it that you’re mindful of us who walk this earth?
You care for all your children, each one bestowed with worth.
You give humans dominion to care for creatures all,
And trust them with creation that they may heed your call.
O Lord, our sovereign Ruler, majestic is your name.
You rule with might and wonder, from age to age the same.
Help us be proper stewards of that which you adore
And treat your good creation with care forevermore.
